You’re invited to celebrate with us at our 2018 Back to the Bay on June 9th at the Festival of the River on Brown’s Island!
This year, we are expecting thousands of local residents to join us on Brown’s Island for our Back to the Bay Celebration! As part of the Richmond Symphony’s Festival of the River: Three Days of Art, Music and Environment, a unique one-time festival, the Alliance will be one of over 30 partners showcasing the best of the James River, Chesapeake Bay and Richmond Region through a lively celebration of art, music and the environment. The festival will be held on Brown’s Island June 8-10, 2018 and will feature Back to the Bay festivities on Saturday, June 9.
Back to the Bay spotlights the vital importance of the Chesapeake Bay and Virginia’s rivers and streams and celebrates Chesapeake Bay Awareness Week with a day of fun-filled and engaging activities to grow environmental stewardship and care for Virginia’s treasured waters.
