i-Tree Online Workshop: Using the i-Tree for Street Tree Inventories
This upcoming i-Tree Web Learning Session will demonstrate how i-Tree can help you get up to speed with the latest tools for looking at trees growing along your community’s roadways. i-Tree software includes analysis tools for urban forest managers that use tree inventory data to quantify the dollar value of annual environmental and aesthetic benefits: energy conservation, air quality improvement, CO2 reduction, stormwater control, and property value increase.
i-Tree allows any community to conduct and analyze sample or compete street tree inventory data, and make estimates of the structure, function and value of these components of your urban forest. Baseline data can be used to effectively manage the resource, develop policy and set priorities. Looking at information collected on existing street trees, this software allows managers to evaluate current benefits, costs, and management needs.
PRE-REGISTRATION is required for this session in order to provide the most streamlined user experience. Please visit https://goo.gl/1EjAgh to register.
