Concert for the Chesapeake
St. Luke’s Restoration of Nature, which is a treatment train of 6 Chesapeake Bay Program’s best management practices, will soon become a reality. This is our last fund raiser before implementation this spring. Please come and support our initiative at this fun concert featuring The Benfield Brass Band. All proceeds benefit the Restoration’s native species with over 200 new trees, hundreds of shrubs and herbaceous plants, and thousands of native Bay grasses.

St. Luke’s Blue & Green Festival
St. Luke’s Blue & Green Festival is a great opportunity to to something good for environmental stewardship while just relaxing and listening to some live Celtic music. Buy lunch lunch and perhaps take home a homemade pie or cake. Take a walk in our restored wood or take a guided tour of construction that soon will begin to install 6 Chesapeake Bay Program BMPs. The festival also will feature great raffle prizes, i.e. native plants, Vin 909 $100 gift certificate, and rain barrels. There will be environmental educators and tributary org exhibitors offering information about ways to get involved. An Arlington Echo educator will be on hand with fun for kids, and, we even have a blessing of the animals so bring the family and friends.
Good people and good times! The festival opens at 11 am and ends at 3 pm and we’re easy to find…right beside Eastport Shopping Center. Attached is a poster with details.
