    NABA Southern Anne Arundel County Butterfly Count

    Free Event for Volunteers!  Register at http://www.px3-pollinators.com

    Join PX3 September 24th for our 1st NABA butterfly Count! At count headquarters there will be games and activities for kids from 2-4 pm for just $10. We will monitor sites from our headquarters at Paris Glendening Nature Preserve’s Butterfly Garden to Annapolis, Deale, Shady Side Training will be at 9 am & 1:30 pm. Join us for the day or meet us at one of our satellite sites near you. Once registration is received we will email you to confirm what part of the day you would like to spend with us and give you an opportunity to enter your name in a drawing for a free Pollinator Paparazzi Tee!

    Caterpillars to Butterflies Two Day Workshop

    Join PX3 for 2 days of discovery. Participants will learn about the mysteries, threats and conservation of the beautiful butterfly and the important role they play in our natural world. The workshop includes a fun chrysalis tree build for your pollinator garden, how to use identification resources, and a field day to practice your new skills.

    We are excited to announce our Bumble Bee 2 Part Worskshop Series. Join PX3 to learn how important these pollinators are and how you can invite them to improve your edibles’ productivity. The workshop will cover important needs and ecology of Bumble Bees, identification of our local populations, which are best suited for artificial hive rearing,  how to care for your new garden partner, and building your own hive. Our talented educators have designed an incredible class that includes a day of learning, exploration and hive building that is followed with a field day to practice identification using Sam Droege’s amazing photography and teach healthy queen collection.

    Donate today to the newly recognized non profit PX3-Pollinators Prospering People, Inc.

    We are very excited to spread the message that PX3-Pollinators Prospering People is official . Not only did we receive our 501 (c) 3 status September 22, 2016 but have been accepted as presenters at MAEOE 2017 (Maryland Association of Environmental and Outdoor Educators)!

    PX3 is a group of natural resource managers, landscape designers and outdoor educators that are excited to join the movement to develop as many sustainable pollinator habitats as we can with implementation, education and community involvement. Our passion is to showcase the amazing service pollinators provide through the beautiful combinations of edibles and pollinator foraging species. We provide a host of services that as a collective we know can create a lasting space you and your community will love.

    Education is a huge piece of how PX3 will make your space sustainable. The team is in the process of developing an innovative course on Bumble Bees and the citizen science opportunities available. This course is available to any group and guarantee you will love it. Our educational series are available outside of our other services. Registration and requests for the course at your site will be available December 15, 2016.

    PX3 is also in the midst of our crowdfunding debut and need your help. Our debut is through ‘Generosity by Indiegogo’ Your donation comes with several great pollinator donor gifts that are sure to inspire you to be involved in learning the great relationship we have with pollinators. These gift packages are displayed on our website along with getting to know us and how to Bee a PX3 client.
