We Need Your Help! Survey on Project to Connect Land Use Planning and Water Resources

Hello River Partners –

River Network is working with the Alliance for Water Efficiency and the Environmental Law Institute to launch Net Blue, an initiative aiming to offer a practical path to sustainable community development by addressing water supply and growth together. The main part of this project is developing a model ordinance template for water-neutral community growth, including a consistent and industry-approved methodology for calculating offsets to ensure desired water savings, which communities can tailor to create a water demand offset approach that meets their needs.

As part of this project, we’d like to collect input from a wide range of stakeholders to help inform development of the ordinance. You can help us by completing a short survey on how such an initiative might work in your community. It should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete, and your input will be extremely helpful. Please respond by July 2.

Many thanks for your input – and please contact Katherine Baer at kbaer@rivernetwork.org if you have questions.
