Real Nature – How Baltimore’s Forest Patches Measure Up

Synopsis: Baltimore’s forest patches, which make up 20% of the city’s tree canopy, have a lot of nature to offer! Learn about Baltimore Green Space’s research on the soil and tree canopy of the forest patches, and about its work with communities to care for neighborhood forest patches. What can the research results tell us about maintaining and expanding tree canopy, and how the forests provide ecosystem services?

The seminar will start at NOON in the C-1 Conference Room, Tawes Building, 580 Taylor Avenue, Annapolis MD. Travel & parking directions are HERE. The C-1 Conference Room is on the 1st floor of the Tawes Building. Enter the building, sign in with the guard, and walk to your left.
