The Chesapeake Bay Program has been sharing short videos on social media in which watershed residents share their stories: what their waterway means to them, how they interact with their environment and what environmental issues face their communities. We invite you to watch the videos (and share the posts if you’d like!) and join in the conversation using #ChesapeakeStories. (For more information on what #ChesapeakeStories is and how to share your own story, see the attached flyer.)
So far, the Facebook posts include:
- Brenda Richardson of the Earth Conservation Corps
- Jeffrey Catts of Washington Parks & People
- Nancy Baker, a leader in Pennsylvania’s Women and Their Woods program
- Randy Rowel, part of Virginia Tech Center for Leadership in Global Sustainability
We will continue to post Chesapeake Stories through the coming weeks, so keep on the lookout!
