Good morning, Choose Clean Water!

We wanted to send around a reminder that the Coalition is organizing an event for the Chesapeake Bay Program’s Executive Council meeting. On Thursday, June 8, the members of the EC (the governors of the Bay states, the mayor of the District of Columbia, the president of CAC, and the EPA) will meet in Annapolis for their annual meeting to discuss the Chesapeake clean-up effort. This year is important for many reasons: 1) Governor Hogan will be taking over as chair of the EC and 2) the entire council will be signing a document voicing their commitment to the Chesapeake Bay Program and support for full federal funding for the restoration effort. It is important that we have a large showing at the public facing portion of the meeting to show our support for this commitment from the EC and to also be a reminder that there is a large group of constituents that expect them to follow through with their pledge.

If you are interested in attending, please RSVP here: https://www3.thedatabank.com/dpg/431/personal2.asp?formid=EC2017&c=4241229

 Details:

Meet at Lawyer’s Mall in Annapolis, Maryland at 12PM

Public Meeting from 12 to 2 (Questions from 1:45 to 2)

Happy Hour at Stan and Joes on West Street in Annapolis from 3-?

Let me know if you all have any questions and we hope you can make it!
