Do you know of a church, synagogue, mosque, etc. with a big lawn that could use some shade? Would you like to beautify the grounds and leave a legacy for future generations at a faith community? Want to engage youth and adults in a community building activity that expresses your care for Creation?  Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake is excited to share this FREE program, Trees for Sacred Places, that delivers all of these benefits along with spiritual and environmental workshops offering teachings on stewardship of the earth and waters. We are looking for several congregations, retreat centers, camps or religious schools, etc. located in Prince Georges’s County, Howard County, the Eastern Shore and statewide. You can learn more about the program on our webpage HERE. Interested? Contact Bonnie Sorak at 443-799-0349. Feel free to forward this to anyone who might be interested. A flyer for each of the programs is attached. Thanks to our program partners the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay, Midshore Riverkeepers, Prince George’s and Howard County and funding through the Chesapeake Bay Trust.TREES_EASTERN SHORE TREES_HOWARD (1) PG TREES Interfaith Flyer Trees for Sacred Places-2016 BSS
