Historic London Town and Gardens in Edgewater, MD, is seeking an educational consultant with a strong background in nature, environmental, and/or public garden programming to work with our public programs staff from the fall of 2017 to the spring of 2018 to create educational programs focusing on developing a love of nature and environmental understanding in students in pre-K through 3rd grade.
By the end of this project, we will have program outlines and lists of resources and materials for two environmental literacy programs: one for students in pre-K through kindergarten and another for first through third graders. These programs should focus on instilling a love of the natural world and beginning to build content knowledge about the environment through hands-on activities and play.
