The Annapolis Maritime Museum & Park is looking for Education Volunteers to contribute to our many hands-on education programs. Get outside and share your love of nature and maritime culture to help students form a connection with the Chesapeake Bay.
Volunteers will be asked to lead and assist with a range of experiential lessons for children from Pre-K to 12th grade. Programs are 2-4 hours long and occur on weekdays between 9:00 and 4:00. These programs include field trips, afterschool, in-school visits, School’s Out Camp, and more. Volunteers choose the lessons, ages, and times that most interest them. Prospective volunteers will shadow a program before assisting with lessons on their own.
