Do you love taking beautiful and captivating images of coastal and ocean habitat? Looking for a chance to showcase your skills? Each year, the NOAA Habitat Month digital photo contest recognizes photographers (both amateur & professional) who capture compelling photographs that highlight these important areas.
Photos can display scenery, wildlife, or hands-on activities in coastal or marine habitat in the following categories:
- Coastal wetlands (including marshes, mangroves, etc.)
- Estuaries
- Rivers
- Underwater habitats (including oyster reefs, coral reefs, deep sea coral, grasses, kelp, etc.)
