The Chesapeake Bay Trust (Trust) recently announced the opening of the Outreach and Restoration Grant Program in partnership with Baltimore City Department of Public Works, Charles County, the City of Gaithersburg, Harford County, Howard County, and the City of Salisbury, to fund projects that both improve communities and improve or create local natural resources like green spaces, parks, tree canopy, and more. This grant program funds projects in these partner areas as well as the entire state of Maryland.

To assist potential grant applicants, the Trust, Charles County, the City of Gaithersburg, Harford County, Howard County, and the City of Salisbury will be hosting a FREE informational workshop on Tuesday, June 16th from 5-8pm. Please see the flyer here for information.

The June 16th workshop will provide:

  • an overview of the grant program,
  • the outreach, education, and restoration goals for partnership areas,
  • a step by step review of the application process, and
  • Q&A with the Trust and funding partners.

*BONUS OPPORTUNITY* We are offering Office Hours from 7pm – 8pm on June 16th as an opportunity to talk with staff one-on-one for 10 to 15 minutes to discuss your individual project ideas/questions.
