Park Rangers from across Anne Arundel County have worked together to create Nature Escape, a weekly screen-free outdoor learning and free play experience that aims to provide a safe, creative, and energetic outlet. Each week children will explore a different theme in nature from Animal Homes and Water Worlds, to Geology and Mindfulness in Nature while parents and guardians can enjoy a midday break!
The same program will occur simultaneously across the following participating regional parks and natural areas: Beverly Triton Park, Fort Smallwood Park, Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary, Kinder Farm Park, and Quiet Waters Park.

Fee: $3 per child per week. Maximum of 8 children each week. No refunds.
Ages: 6-10 years old
Registration: Required each week. Participation forms are required and may be printed and emailed in advance or submitted on the day of the program. Blank forms will be available on site. Please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out forms.
Dates & Times: Every Wednesday from 1pm to 3pm starting September 23 and ending on November 11
RAIN OR SHINE
Current COVID health and safety guidelines will be enforced and masks must be worn by all participants and staff for the duration of the program. Participants and caretakers will be asked health screening questions and have temperatures taken prior to drop off.
