Hello Education Community!

Thanks to all that have submitted session proposals for the virtual 2021 Mid-Atlantic Climate Change Education Conference, June 28 – July 1, 2021 but we still need more! We know there is a lot of amazing and unique climate change education work happening so please consider sharing your story and resources with the community.

The Call for Proposals has been extended to Friday, April 23rd at 5pm.

We are looking for session proposals that could fit into the Conference Themes of:

  • Climate Science: sessions that highlight recent research in various aspects of climate science
  • Climate Justice: research, activities, and resources that will help participants delve deeper into environmental justice and what can be done to mitigate the unequal impacts of climate change
  • Eclectic Climate Education: programs, resources and research related to educating and communicating to people of all ages about climate change
  • Climate Workforce: programs, resources and research related to developing a climate ready workforce

If you have any questions about the submission process or how your session could fit into the conference themes, don’t hesitate to contact David Christopher at dmchrist@udel.edu.

Conference Registration is also open!

Full attendance to the conference is $20. Scholarships are available for Mid-Atlantic educators. Please visit our Registration page to learn more and register.
