St. Mary’s & Calvert County Scholarship for the Mid-Atlantic Marine Education Association Conference – November 5-7, 2021 in Solomons, MD
Mid-Atlantic Marine Education Association (MAMEA) strives to have a diverse membership. This includes location and financial ability. In order to increase our membership in these specific categories, we offer two (2) scholarships for local educators, one informal, one formal, which will cover registration to attend the MAMEA annual conference. The intent is to support local qualified individuals to share their expertise, experiences and perspectives through active participation in the MAMEA annual conference.

Application requests information describing 1) how the candidate represents local informal/formal educators in St Mary’s or Calvert County, 2) how the candidate is related to the marine/aquatic research/education field, and 3) how the candidate would utilize the conference experience in their work.
The application deadline for all scholarships is September 4, 2021. Recipients will be notified by September 18, 2021, in time to register for early bird registration.
