The Chesapeake Bay Trust and funding partners are excited to announce the Outreach and Restoration Grant Program is now open! This program funds outreach, community engagement activities, and on-the-ground restoration projects. Example projects include rain gardens, litter reduction and pet waste campaigns, community butterfly gardens, green workforce development, environmental art installations, and more!

Applicants can apply for up to $75,000 for their project (dependent upon the project track). This program funds projects anywhere in the state of Maryland. Applications are due Wednesday, August 10 at 4pm EDT.

The Outreach and Restoration Grant Program is a partnership between the Chesapeake Bay Trust and Charles County, the City of Annapolis, the City of Baltimore Department of Public Works, the City of Gaithersburg, the City of Salisbury, Harford County, Howard County, the Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Port Administration, Queen Anne’s County, and Tradepoint Atlantic.
