This exciting and fast-paced position will work closely with the WSA Director of Restoration to execute the RePlant Anne Arundel Program, RePlant Annapolis Program, and assist with other watershed restoration projects.  In 2022, RePlant Anne Arundel and RePlant Annapolis installed over 3,800 trees and engaged over 700 residents throughout Anne Arundel County. The Restoration Coordinator will lead these programs to plant a similar number of trees with volunteers and restoration contractors in 2023 and beyond. This will include leading an online training course as well as in-person planting events during the spring and fall planting seasons.

Additionally, the Restoration Coordinator will engage, train, and mentor volunteers to install additional restoration projects as well as train and engage new volunteers. The Restoration Coordinator must share a commitment to supporting the goal of engaging a diverse range of constituents and a strong desire to help forward WSA’s mission to advance the principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ) in our watershed.

While the position will remain open until filled, qualified applicants should apply by January 9, 2023. For more information and full position description, click here.
