The Chesapeake Bay Trust’s Anne Arundel Community Tree Planting Mini Grant Program is open and accepting applications! This mini grant program is a partnership between the Anne Arundel County Forestry Board and the Chesapeake Bay Trust to provide small community-based grants (up to $2,500) to help communities and organizations increase the number of trees and tree canopy in neighborhoods, parks, and communities throughout Anne Arundel County. Neighborhood by neighborhood, community stewardship projects are helping to raise public awareness about the health of our region’s tree canopy, watersheds, air quality, streams, rivers, and the Bay, as well as the steps that can be taken to restore and protect them.

What this funds: Community tree plantings and invasive species removal in Anne Arundel County.

Who can apply: Non-profit organizations, community associations, faith-based organizations, and more.

How much can be awarded: Up to $2,500 per project.
