Native Plant Open House Sales

Our nursery is lush and ready to welcome you all Saturday, October 7th,  from 10 am to 2 pm for our Fall Native Plant Open House Sale in beautiful Rosaryville State Park (9640 Rosaryville Road). 🍂🌿 Fall is the perfect season to plant, giving roots a strong start for spring. Our available inventory will be posted on our website the week of October 1st.

Merkle’s Monarchs & Milkweed Festival

Mark your calendars for an incredible time in nature! Join us this Saturday (9/30 from 10AM-2PM) for the Monarchs & More Festival at Merkle Natural Resource Management Area (1704 Fenno Rd, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772), just a stone’s throw away from our nursery in Upper Marlboro. Expect native plants, mesmerizing monarch butterfly tagging and release, delicious food trucks, garden tours, and so much more! 🌼🦋 🌼 Save the date and spread the word.

Volunteer Workdays

Our volunteers truly are our superpower. These dedicated crews are working tirelessly every weekday from 10am to 3pm, and they’re always ready to welcome new faces! 🌱🌿 As fall approaches, our gardens are buzzing with activity. Join us in the beautiful demonstration gardens and be a part of something special. 🍂🌼

Get your hands dirty (don’t worry, we’ve got gloves), meet wonderful people, and delve into the world of native plants in the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
