The Chesapeake Bay Trust, in partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region III, is seeking proposals for technical assistance to support a community-led green infrastructure planning process through a charrette. This work is part of the Green Streets, Green Jobs, Green Towns (G3) Initiative and will assist the Greater Reedville Association in developing a vision, stormwater retrofit concept plan(s), and/or engineered design(s) for the future Watermen’s Heritage Park in Reedville, Virginia.
The selected contractor will plan and facilitate a charrette, engage diverse stakeholders, and deliver conceptual or engineered stormwater designs and an implementation plan. The goal is to reduce stormwater runoff, improve water quality, expand green spaces, and enhance community livability in alignment with the Chesapeake Bay Agreement.
