On October 5th, Maryland Conservation Filmmaker Cheryle Franceschi’ documentary, “Food, Fiber, & The Female Farmer”
is airing on Maryland Public Television at 6pm. The film is streaming nationwide on the free PBS app.
Audiences are introduced to six extraordinary women as they share their stories about nurturing the land, driving scientific innovation,
and sustaining food sources for future generations. Expanding the lens to capture a growing culture, an #AGRI-Culture featuring female farmers from Caroline, Carroll, Dorchester and Harford counties, and Baltimore City.
