Looking to plant native trees and shrubs in your community this fall?
The Watershed Stewards Academy is excited to announce our Groves of Gratitude tree program for Anne Arundel County, MD and City of Annapolis residents!
Groves of Gratitude provides Anne Arundel County and City of Annapolis residents with single native trees and pre-designed tree and shrub bundles to plant on their properties for a suggested donation. Through the Groves of Gratitude fundraising initiative, 50% of all donations will benefit The Light House, a local nonprofit organization that provides shelter, transitional and supportive housing, homelessness prevention, and related support services to people who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness in Anne Arundel County. Its mission is to rebuild lives with compassion by providing shelter and services to prevent homelessness and empower people as they transition toward employment, housing, and self-sufficiency.
