There are two weeks left to apply to serve as a 2026-27 Chesapeake Conservation and Climate Corps (CCCC) Program Host Organization!
For the upcoming Program year, the Chesapeake Bay Trust, in partnership with Maryland Corps/Service Year Option, anticipates placing approximately 80 Corps Members at nonprofit organizations and government agencies across the state of Maryland for a one-year term of stipend-supported service from August 18, 2026 to August 17, 2027 through the Chesapeake Conservation and Climate Corps Program.
The Corps Program provides young adult participants with hands-on professional experience and skills in the environmental field by supporting projects and programs at their Host Organization, participating in professional development trainings, and taking advantage of other program opportunities including networking and grant writing.
Organizations interested in serving as a Host for a Corps Member, should submit their online application(s) through the Trust’s online system by 4:00 pm EST on Thursday, December 4th, 2025. In addition to the online application form, organizations should plan to submit a description of the proposed activities they have to offer a Corps Member. Corps Members can engage in a wide range of activities focused in the fields of climate change, environmental restoration, energy conservation, sustainable agriculture, forestry, community engagement, and/or preK-12 environmental education.
The application package and access to the online application can be found on the Trust’s website at: https://cbtrust.org/chesapeake-climate-corps/apply/hosts/
