The Chesapeake Bay Trust, US EPA Region III, Chesapeake Bay Program, and WV DEP are excited to announce that the Green Streets, Green Jobs, Green Towns Grant Program is now open!

This grant program aims to help communities:
- Reduce stormwater runoff.
- Increase urban green spaces.
- Improve local water health and the Chesapeake Bay.
- Enhance community quality of life and livability.
Example projects include green streets, rain gardens, green roofs, pollinator gardens, white papers/tools on green infrastructure, and more!
Eligible Locations: Chesapeake Bay watershed portions of DE, MD, PA, DC, WV, VA, and NEW this year: New York!
Eligible Project Tracks and Funding Request Amounts:
- Track 1: Conceptual Plans (up to $20,000).
- Track 2: Engineered Designs (up to $35,000).
- Track 3: Implementation/Construction (up to $175,000).
- Track 4: Community Greening (up to $50,000).
- Track 5: White Papers (up to $20,000).
- Track 6: Charrette/Technical Planning Assistance (no direct funding).
Application Deadline: March 13, 2026, at 4:00 PM ET.
