Exciting news! The Friends of Hart-Miller Island has been awarded a $200,000 Chesapeake Watershed Investments for Landscape Defense Grants Program (Chesapeake WILD Grants Program) from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation to support stewardship and education at both Hart-Miller Island and Masonville Cove.
The grant will fund two new Coordinator positions to help expand programs, support volunteers, and strengthen partnerships. Hiring is underway, with plans to have Coordinators on board by mid to late March.
