The Chesapeake Bay Trust also administers two other programs in Prince George’s County – the Rain Check Rebate program and the Community Gardens Mini grant program. Rain Check Rebate offers rebate incentives to homeowners, businesses, and others to install practices, such as native trees, rain barrels, permeable pavers, and more that will improve stormwater runoff quality, reduce pollution, and improve local stream and river health. The Community Gardens Mini grant program funds the creation or expansion of community gardens across the County to promote access to healthy foods.
