Registration is now open for the 2019 National Marine Educators Association (NMEA) Osprey Banding Regional Event. The Osprey Banding opportunity will occur on Saturday, June 15th at Patuxent River Park Jug Bay Natural Area in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Participants will participate in hands-on wildlife research to help learn more about the local osprey population.
This year NMEA is offsetting more than half of the event cost as a service to the NMEA membership and as an incentive to join NMEA, so NMEA membership is required to participate in the event. If you are not a current NMEA member, be sure to join NMEA at the most appropriate membership level before registering for the event.
