The Annapolis Environmental Commission (AEC) currently has openings for new members and welcomes interest from the community.  The AEC mission is to promote the protection and improvement of the natural health and welfare of the environment of the City of Annapolis through participation in city environmental policy and public education. The Commission is an advisory body to the Mayor and the City Council and it generally meets (usually virtually) once per month to identify issues for comment/recommendation, form positions, and learn about developments in City legislation, policies, and programs. This is a volunteer position and city residency is required. The AEC consists of nine members serving three-year terms. Please contact hrraftovich@annapolis.gov if you are interested learning more about the work of the AEC. Environmental Commission | Annapolis, MD
