DESCRIPTION:
Join artist and forest steward Inna Alesina for a hands-on morning on the JCC Nature Trail. Volunteers will remove invasive Wavy Leaf Basket Grass and plant native groundcovers in their place, helping restore the forest ecosystem along the trail. Fun activities for kids include learning to identify native vs. invasive berries and a forest scavenger game. No experience needed. All tools, gloves, and materials provided.
WHAT TO WEAR: Closed-toe shoes, long pants, clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
