The Chesapeake Bay Trust is excited to share an opportunity for organizations and community groups looking to perform maintenance on their watershed restoration and stormwater management projects! The Maintenance Small Grants Program provides awards of $500 or less to assist with the long-term maintenance of previously grant-funded projects, specifically focused around removing invasives and planting native species.
Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, community associations, faith-based groups, and small municipalities. All projects must be located within the State of Maryland.
Applications will be accepted and reviewed on an ongoing basis until all funds are spent. We recommend applying early (by November 30) for the best chance of getting awarded.
Please visit the Maintenance Small Grants Program website for more information and additional program resources here: https://cbtrust.org/grants/maintenance-program/.
