The Anne Arundel County Watershed Restoration and Forestry Grant Program is now open and accepting applications until February 26, 2027 at 4PM! This grant program supports the reduction of pollutants flowing into our local waterways, implementation of cost-effective reforestation and greening efforts, and the increase of protected forested land.

If you have a potential project idea, reach out to the Trust as soon as possible to discuss your project idea and coordinate a site visit.

  2. Watershed Design
    1. Requests up to $150,000
  3. Watershed Restoration Implementation
    1. Requests up to $315,000
  4. Permanent Protection of Forested Lands
    1. $600,000 available for projects in the County; $45,000 available for projects in the City of Annapolis
  5. Afforestation/Reforestation on Protected or Unprotected, Uneased Land
    1. $600,000 available for projects in the County; $45,000 available for projects in the City of Annapolis
  6. Watershed Restoration and Forestry
    1. no request cap, but project should consider the total available funding
