Each year, Oak Ridge Baptist Church shuts down the entire church on Palm Sunday and serves the community for PEACE1 Day. Part of their congregation works with us — Nanticoke Watershed Alliance — on trash cleanups along the lower Nanticoke River. This year’s sites will be Roaring Point, Cove Road Beach, and Cedar Hill Marina, where we will meet to get assignments and gear.
