Kick-off the spring Project Clean Stream weekend with the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay on Friday, April 3 with a clean-up event at Blackwell Park/Charlie Sydnor Playground in Richmond, VA. We’ll gather at the entrance to the park at 9 am, before splitting up to collect litter within the park.
- What is provided: Gloves, trash bags, trash pickers, water and snacks will all be provided.
- What to bring: A reusable water bottle, sturdy walking shoes (closed toed preferred), and sun protection.
- Rain or shine?: The event will be canceled in the case of rain.
- Parking: Parking is available in the new permeable parking lot. You may also park on Maury Street and in the adjacent neighborhood if the lot is full.
