Help collect trash along Hamilton Run and the Antietam Creek in the City of Hagerstown, MD.

Hosted by the Antietam-Conococheague Watershed Alliance, Creek Cleanup Project, and The City of Hagerstown

Two ways to join us:

  • 9 am On-the-water cleanup from Kiwanis Park, Hagerstown. BYOBoat to paddle and collect trash, with take out just above Mount Aetna Road. Paddlers will pass the mouth of Hamilton Run and help collect litter at this tributary.  This portion of the event is hosted by Creek Cleanup Project. Kiwanis Park is located at: 371 Dynasty Drive, Hagerstown.
  • 10 am Walking cleanup of Hamilton Run starts at The Greens Golf course (2 S Cleveland Ave, Hagerstown). Trash bags, safety vests, and gloves will be provided. Please bring a water bottle and wear sturdy shoes that can get muddy. Boots or waders are recommended if you are willing to get into the stream to remove trash.
