Come support our Public Lands in a beach clean-up event at Caledon State Park! We’ll take a wagon ride to the lower Potomac River at the Caledon Marsh beach to pick up trash AND search for fossils! This beach does a lot to protect the marsh, so let’s get out there and protect it and the wildlife that lives there. This is also the best place in the park to look for fossils, so why not do both?

Next we’ll ride out to Jones Pond beach to lead another trash pick-up. This is a great spot for bird watching, so grab a pair of binoculars during a break and set your sights on the resident raptors of the river! Please bring water & snacks, dress for the weather, and wear close-toed shoes that can get wet.

Parking is free for participants on the day of the event. Please call 540-663-3861 to register and let us know that you’ll be joining us.
