Come out to clean up Cordova as a community!  There is an abundance of trash along many streets, along farmland and in drainage ditches.  We believe working together makes a larger impact in our community and the environment.  In honor of Earth Day we urge everyone to come out, pick some roads near your home and safely pick up trash.

When: April 11, 2021

Time: 11:00-3:00

Gloves and Trash Bags provided if needed.

What to bring:  Just bring yourself, family and friends! Water if desired and we encourage wearing bright colored clothing.

Where: Meet at the Cordova Firehouse to pick up trash bags and gloves at 10:45.  From there you can drive to your destination of choice for trash cleanup.  We will have further instructions on where to leave trash for pick up after cleanup.  Would love to have items to be recycled in separate bag from trash.

If you are unable to meet at the firehouse, let us know and we can coordinate a way to get supplies to you if needed.

This is a socially distanced event so please wear your mask upon meeting for supply pick up and when needed.  If we spread out amongst the town this won’t be an issue.

If you are unable to make this event we encourage your own clean up day 🙂

If you have any questions please feel free to message Alyssa or Linda !

Thank you!
