The Rotary Club of Sterling will be hosting a Potomac River Watershed Cleanup at Algonkian Regional Park on Saturday, May 4 from 9am to noon. Bring your family and friends — all are encouraged to attend as we work together to clean the Potomac River waterfront and along Sugarland Run at Algonkian Regional Park.
Everyone of all abilities are welcome to join in and participate in the cleanup. There are easily accessible areas along the fields and walking trails. If you enjoy kayaking or canoeing, bring your boat and paddle while collecting trash from the water and islands around Algonkian Park. After the cleanup, stay for lunch and fellowship and enjoy the efforts of your work in the clean park. Lunch after the cleanup is provided.
