Join Friends of Stony Run for Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay’s Project Clean Stream. This is the largest cleanup event in the Chesapeake Bay region! Cleanups take place across the entire Chesapeake watershed, in all six Bay states and DC.
We will meet 9 am Saturday October 30th in Wyman Park near corner of Tudor Arms Avenue and Craycombe Avenue in Baltimore City. Invasive removal event will take place the same day along Meadow Lane– more details to come!
We will have a signin table with heavy gloves and trash bags to collect litter. Please bring your own water container to drink. People of all ages and abilities are welcome to attend- children should be accompanied by an adult and bring their own gloves. Dress appropriately for the weather and the elements– be aware some sites may have ticks and/or poison ivy. Only skilled and appropriately outfitted adults should wade into the stream to collect trash.
