2019 Community Landscapes Symposium

Trees are the foundation of Delaware’s open spaces. At this day-long symposium presented by the Delaware Forest Service’s Urban and Community Forestry Program, Symrna Shade Tree Commission, and DCH, you’ll learn how to be more effective at managing landscapes in your own community, whether you’re a property owner or working with a homeowners’ association or municipality. Topics include tree inventories, trees and climate, ordinances, contract management, ecology, planting, pruning, and stewardship. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Registration is required. Attendance is on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating is limited.
