Learn to look at cues from nature, whether it is pinpointing the best grasses and sedges to control storm water or combining native plants in ways that reduce maintenance. Hear about current field research and newly discovered native species, visit an Arboretum restoration project, discover how pesky invasives can produce alluring art, or learn about plants toughing it out in some unexpected places.

Speakers include C. Colston Burrell, Native Landscape Design and Restoration; Shannon Currey, Hoffman Nursery, and Dr. Aaron Floden, Missouri Botanical Garden.

Concurrent sessions will be led by Patterson Clark, Alienweeds.com; Max Fedeli & Angela Magnan, U.S. National Arboretum staff, and Dr. Brett McMillan, The Bryn Mawr School.

NATIVE PLANT sale: 8:30am – 2pm, open to general public
