Garden Stories at Woodend Nature Sanctuary

This Earth month, we want to encourage you to take positive environmental action while doing something that joyfully connects you with nature … gardening! Gardens can be places of respite and powerful agents of environmental healing with plant communities that feed and shelter wildlife, and green engineering that prevents erosion, flooding and pollution. Four accomplished landscape designers will share stories about particular gardens they have designed, including their favorite native plants, and lessons learned through success and failure along the way.

Izel Native Plants will offer an assortment of plants for sale from groundcovers for dry shade to late bloomers that support fall pollinators – all available as plugs without having to commit to a full flat.
