The Havre de Grace Green Team hosts a bi-monthly environmental book discussion at Coakley’s Pub at 414 St. John Street in Havre de Grace, MD. This month’s discussion on Wednesday June 21 will start at 7 PM. Originally published in 1951, The Sea Around Us remains one of the most influential books ever written about the natural world. With Rachel Carson’s ability to combine scientific insight with poetic prose, The Sea Around Us remains as fresh today as when first published.
