In this beginner workshop, you will be introduced to the ecology of the humble bumble bee, and learn their importance in the pollinator community. Get tips on attracting bumble bees to your yard, build your very own bumble bee hive box. You will receive your local bumble guide and join national citizen science projects that we will accomplish as a team. The Bumble Bee Field Day is included and will be on a later spring day where you will further learn and practice identification of our local bumble bees.
