Cape Conservation Corps, a local community conservation and restoration group based in Cape St Claire, will host their 2nd Annual Fall Native Plant Sale and Festival September 22nd.  Fall is the best time for planting and we will have a great selection of natives at LOW,  LOW prices!  Come join us for a morning of buying and learning.  In addition to plants for sale we will experts on hand to answer your gardening questions.  We will have two guest speakers that will lead you on a journey around the sale to discuss the native plant selections.  First up at 9:15 is local landscape designer Chris Pax who will walk you through which plants will work best together and in what conditions they will thrive.  Next up is author and wildlife blogger Nancy Lawson.  Nancy will give you tips on plants that are beneficial to our local wildlife, including host plants for butterflies and important nectar sources.  Nancy’s book, “The Humane Gardener” will be available to purchase.
