Friends of the Rappahannock (FOR) is partnering with Menokin Foundation on a tour of the Cat Point Creek Water Trail. Cat Point Creek is one of the most pristine Northern Neck tributaries of the Rappahannock River. Attendees will also tour Menokin, the remains of the 18th century home of Francis Lightfoot Lee, that is now the “Most Engaging Preservation Project in America.” Oct. 14 is also Francis Lightfoot Lee’s birthday, so we’ll be celebrating that too! Bring lunch, water, and sunscreen. Minimum age is 12. 12pm-4pm.
