After tabling at Pollinator Festival in Washington DC, Friday, PX3-Pollinators Prospering People, realized how many young interns there are in the area.
To close out Pollinator Week 2018 we want to offer a 1 week special for our Caterpillars to Butterfly Workshop (June 24-June 30).
Workshop: July 8   Field Day: July 21
We hope that by having this special the local interns can afford to come out and join us. This is a great way to learn how to find caterpillars, identify them and host plants, their chrysalis, and all of the beautiful adults. We go over the use of guides and how to use some of our nationally relevant favorites to run citizen science programs. As always we will discuss the challenges and needs of caterpillars and butterflies. The workshop includes a field day where participants will practice their skills with trained leads at our summer NABA Butterfly Count.
Please share this with partners that have interns in the DC area. Though we hope to share our passion for sustainable pollinator habitat with our up and coming biologists all, are of course, welcome!
