Land Conservation 101 for Landowners

Monday, October 22, 2018
1:00pm-2:30pm
Crofton Community Library – 1681 Riedel Rd, Crofton, MD 21114

Have you thought about conserving your land, but aren’t quite sure what that entails? Learn about the basics of conservation easements and what this opportunity can do for you. Experts will provide information, options, and answers to your questions.

There is an exciting local program that can provide a $3,000+ per acre incentive to encourage easements on forested land or land that could be planted in forest. Over the last two years, Scenic Rivers has helped landowners be awarded $2.3 million to protect their land.

A FREE workshop, but registration is required by October 21. REGISTER HERE
Can’t make either workshop? Not a problem – we’re happy to talk on the phone or meet with you in person!

This workshop is geared towards landowners with 10 acres or more and live in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Questions? Contact Sarah Knebel, Conservation Director, Scenic Rivers Land Trust, at  Sarah@SRLT.org or 410-980-6837.

Scenic Rivers Land Trust is a private 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission to work with willing landowners to protect natural and scenic land in Anne Arundel County. This educational event is funded by BGE, Paul & Maxine Frohring Foundation, Biophilia Foundation, and Mars Foundation.
