The AACPS Office of Environmental Literacy and Outdoor Education at Arlington Echo Outdoor Education Center is looking for volunteers for weekday programs!

Have you ever thought about volunteering with Arlington Echo but wanted to learn more or ask some questions before committing? Well on Friday 4/22 from 4PM to 5PM we will be having a virtual volunteer orientation. This orientation is usually one of the last steps for our volunteer but we understand that committing to all the forms can be nerve racking with out some more information on what you may be doing.

If you are interested in attending please contact Volunteer-ELOE@aacps.org to confirm your spot and receive a Google Meets code to join.

Not familiar with Arlington Echo and want to know more about our programs before reaching out?

Well we are an integral part of the AACPS environmental educational program where all students participate in lessons lead by motivated and passionate instructors. We work with Kindergarten, 4th Grade, 5th Grade, and 6th Grade students to help them connect with nature. Volunteers help with leading some of these lessons and have fun in the sun and share their enthusiasm. Just looking to get closer to nature and maybe a little dirty? Then our Land Stewards Volunteer group may be for you, these volunteers come out and help with many of our outdoor projects such as planting native or removing invasive plants. Or visit us on our volunteer webpage, where we have plenty of information on all the fun activities we have here for students and volunteers alike!

We cant wait to meet you out at Arlington Echo!
