Curious about the work of urban land trusts?

Join Phyllis Joris, Executive Director of NeighborSpace of Baltimore County, for an engaging exploration of the pocket parks, open spaces, and forest patches protected by this unique urban land trust.

Phyllis will lead participants on guided walks through three conserved sites, sharing each space’s history, community connections, conservation story, and ongoing restoration efforts. Along the way, she’ll highlight the plants, wildlife, and habitats that make each park special and discuss the mission and priorities of an urban land trust working to protect green spaces in Baltimore County.

Our last walk is this Friday, 10/24, 4-5 PM @ Volz Neighborhood Park (navigate to 9827 Ravenhurst Rd, Middle River 21220).
